Stay protected 24/7 with Direct Banking Alerts! Direct Alerts allow you to receive notification about security events that have occured in online banking via text message or email.

There are 5 alerts available:

  • New bill payment vendor added via online banking
  • Online Banking password change
  • Security question answered incorrectly a maximum of 3 times
  • Online account login
  • Interac E-transfer recipient added

How to register for Direct Alerts:

  1. Login to online banking
  2. Select Messages and Alerts>Get Started Today
  3. Select Add Contacts>add your email address or mobile phone number (only one contact is mandatory but you may add both)
  4. To choose from the list of available alerts select Messages and Alerts>Manage Alerts
  5. Click on the alert you would like to receive and select add
  6. Under the Create Alert screen, select how you would like to receive the alert (via text message on your mobile phone or via email) and select submit
